Groveflora - Your Premier Garden Resource in India
This year, Groveflora got a bumper harvest. After giving away many of the fruits of labor to deserving folks we still had plenty left. Then an enthusiastic new recruit in our team suggested we take turns using the produce to cook.
So here we begin a series of recipes contributed by the Groveflora Team that Cooks as well. The recipes are simple and use fruits and vegetables from the Garden. We added an additional qualifier that they should also be nutritious.

Garden Tomato Salad with Orange-Lemon-Cumin Vinaigrette
1 tsp freshly roasted and ground cumin seeds
1 small orange peeled and juiced
1 small lemon juiced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp brown sugar
5 juicy red tomatoes chopped in quarters
Toss the tomatoes in a large bowl with salt. In a blender add the orange and lemon juice, pepper, sugar and cumin. Last, add the olive oil. Give it a good blend. The vinaigrette is ready. Add this to the tomatoes and give the salad a good mix. Enjoy!
